About Me

Back in 2001, computers were not something as common as they are now a days which adds to the curiosity to know more about them, more about this technology, how it works. Just an example, I used to think how come we fill in the address ‘google.com’ and all of a sudden a page appears (later the astonishment was added when I came to know that the page ‘google.com’ is hosted on a server which is on the other side of the world). Today when I look back at those days, I feel amazed how a human mind grows and learn new things.

My name is Aman Hanjrah, an OPS engineer by profession, a tourist by hobby. I am a Bachelor degree holder in Information Technology and Master degree holder in Networking and Protocol Design. Apart from that, I am an RHCE engineer and have a keen interest in installing and maintaining  Linux based servers. I was born and brought up in the state of Punjab (India) although I had my ventures abroad as well. Currently I am based in the city of Jalandhar where I work with Kayako Infotech Pvt. Ltd. as an OPS engineer.

Here at my blog, you will find various tutorials on different topics related to Linux server administration which I have learned over time. Although I would try to put up the tutorials as often as possible, but sometimes it’s just not possible to get time to update everything here on the blog.

I also provide freelancing support, for that, please feel free to contact me at the following email addresses:
